Malakoff ISD Food and Nutrition Services offers a wide variety of nutritious breakfasts and lunches to every student each school day on all campuses. The district participates in the School Breakfast Program and the National School Lunch Program through the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The nutritional goal for school meals is to provide a large portion of the recommended daily dietary allowances.  We believe nutrition is crucial to a student's academic performance and we strive to meet those

Malakoff ISD will operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2024-2025 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This approach reduces burdens for families and school administrators and helps ensure students receive nutritious meals.
