Malakoff ISD Families,

Since 2021, approximately 160,000 Texas students and their families have benefitted from the Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) program (formerly the Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) program), which grants $1,500 online accounts to families so they can purchase educational goods and/or services for their student. Every student in LEA who is enrolled and served through special education, and who has not already received a PDSES/SSES grant is eligible for this program.

Application Window. The PDSES application is currently closed. This school year’s application window will open at 8am on February 3, 2025, and will close at 5pm on March 31, 2025.

Email List. Families who wish to receive updates and reminders about the PDSES program, including when the next application window will open, can join our PDSES Email List by visiting our website PDSES.TEA.TEXAS.GOV.

Please note that PDSES/SSES is a one-time only grant. Families who have already received a grant are not eligible.
